PNNE PW 2024 Spring Retreat

The PNNE Presbyterian Women's Annual Spring Retreat 2024 was a great success!  With 36 women arriving for the Friday night program and another 37 on Saturday it was the largest gathering in several years.  The Calumet Conference Center welcomed us with pleasant rooms, good food, a helpful staff and a great location on Ossipee Lake.

After the Friday night ice breaker a Women of the Bible Fashion Show was entertaining and kept everyone laughing.  Saturday at the business meeting we were happy to welcome several new people to the Coordinating Team.  Then there was an interesting and informative talk by Dr. Dan Krymkowski (RE at First PC, Barre, VT, and serving on the PNNE Committee On Representation), on "Music for the Presbyterian Church in the 21st Century".

The afternoon was devoted to singing and making a Joyful Noise which was the theme of the retreat.  There was a hymn sing followed by singing from the women from Marturia PC as well as Ushindi PC, and Cambodian women of Eliot PC.  A highlight was when the women from Marturia PC led by their choir director encouraged everyone to join in a line dance.

A final worship service ended the retreat and sent us on our way home after group photos were taken in front of the Center.
